3.5-Inch Paring Knife
The 3.5-Inch Paring Knife is perfect for cutting tasks that require precision and a delicate touch, such as hulling strawberries, halving cherry tomatoes, or trimming green beans. The blade of our paring knife is made from the same AUS-10 steel as our 8-Inch Chef’s Knife. The steel is hardened to 60 HRC. It’s sharp out of the box and has excellent edge retention. The knife is lightweight and is designed to fit snugly in the hand–important, as a lot of paring knife work happens off of the cutting board. The handle scales are made from warp-resistant POM and are riveted to the tang.
- AUS-10 steel (60±2 HRC)
- Rounded spine
- Double bevel 12° blade angle
- 2 oz
Sharper, Longer
The 3.5-inch long blade is perfect for small tasks. It’s long enough to slice through apples and oranges while still being nimble. The blade is made from AUS-10 steel for excellent edge retention without being too brittle and chip-prone.
Safe and Secure
The knife handle is shaped to fit snugly in your hand and measures about 3.75 inches long to suit most hand sizes. The handle scales are made from POM, which resists warping and cracking, and are attached to the tang with three rivets.
Little Details
The knife is lightweight, weighing about 2 ounces. The light weight and comfortable grip make the paring knife easy to control. A half bolster provides a smooth transition from the handle to the blade. The spine of the blade is rounded for improved comfort.
